Once again an old attack is starting to get re-used. It looks a lot more authentic this time around so as usual wanted to give you a heads up.
The messages have the subject “You have received a greeting e-card !” and come from the spoofed email address ' This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ' to make it look genuine and coming from Hallmark itself, which is obviously not the case.
The email looks like this:

The links under “To see it, click here” and “We invite you to make a friend’s day and send one.” will lead you to the file “ecard.exe” which will install a Trojan.
As previously mentioned the email itself looks very authentic so can easily catch people out.
Remember an email that contains an application file (.exe) or has a link that takes you directly to an application shouldn’t be trusted!
Please pass on this information to anyone you feel may benefit from it.
As always if you aren’t sure about anything that looks even vaguely suspicious please get in touch.
