Fake iTunes Gift Certificate

Good morning,

I hope you had a great bank holiday weekend!

I just want to make you aware of an email that we’re seeing more of in recent weeks.

As usual the bad guys try to lure people into running an infected file by making them think they have got something for free.

The message claims to have details of a $50  iTunes gift certificate and asks you to open the attachment.

The attachment is a zip file that contains a Trojan known as  “SASFIS”

Always treat every e-mail with an attachment with suspicion.

Please pass on this information to anyone you feel may benefit from it.

As always if you aren’t sure about anything that looks even vaguely suspicious please get in touch.
